The Elsevier building in Amsterdam-West on Krelis Louwenstraat has 141 affordable student homes less than 15 minutes by bike from the bustling center of Amsterdam!

The houses
The offer consists of studios with private facilities and two-bedroom houses. You can rent a studio from €350 per month (including rental allowance and service costs). International students from the VU and the UvA also live in the same building.

The building
The Elsevier building (former office building) was completely renovated into excellent student studios on behalf of DUWO. The characteristic Dudok appearance is largely retained. Small-scale businesses will be located on the ground floor.

The entrance to the student housing is on Krelis Louwenstraat; the mailboxes are on the forecourt in front of the building.

• Sufficient parking spaces (paid) around the building.
• You can get your daily groceries at neighbor Lidl (a large one).
• Various cafes, restaurants and evening shops on the Admiraal de Ruijterweg.
• Close to the cultural hotspot Westerpark with the Westergasfabriek, where high-profile festivals, concerts and other cultural activities are regularly held.
